To know your-self means to become aware of your current self; the persona or ego you have created so far in your life—your story.

To become aware of your current self you have to describe your-self. You have to find out what your current self wants, doesn’t want, believes; you have to know about its past, its present, its future; know about its body, its stuff, and so on.

You have to ask your-self important questions like: What do I want? What do I not want? What do I believe in? What am I doing now with my life? What is the future that I want? Am I taking right action towards that future? What do I want for my relationships? For my health? For my finances? For my happiness? Am I engaging in the right activities to achieve that?

Knowing yourself is a never-ending process and there is always more to learn. But the more you know your-self, the more you can consciously choose the thoughts, words and actions of the person you want to be.

The more you know yourself, the easier it will be to create the life that you want.

Knowing yourself is the beginning of all wisdom. — Aristotle
